Let hear it for some cyborg smut!!! Bonus it has a good plot... I loved this start of the series and I thought it was an intriguing world that Ms Hayes built. Living in the far recesses of space a girls gotta be tough and Zura is. What I loved was how she dealt with Kit and Luke and their needs and possessiveness. Kit and Luke were fantastic read and their personalities were uninque but similar enough to make the triad work.

This was so uninteresting. I'm pretty sure I skimmed half of this book. I would recommend reading it if you are looking for something chill.

Holy Fraxx. Read this in a day. At just over 250 pages it was just perfect. Susan Hayes is a new author to me but I know I will be reading more from her soon. Loved the story, a slight twist on what you normally see is these kinds of stories. The relationship between the characters is so right. They want her, to protect her but also see in her a woman who can defend herself

Susan Hayes still delivers her own sci-fi style, in this one two hunky cyborgs and a spunky cargo pilot. For the males life wasn't all that easy, mostly only saw as a machine with no feelings, no rights and could be treated any old kinda way. The female grew up with less than a norm life, on a ship since she was little, her life's education was colorful to say the least. But strong capable and used to being alone. Anytime she'd pull into Drift she'd go to what now seems to be her fav club. Yeah Susan Hayes still delivers her own sci-fi style, in this one two hunky cyborgs and a spunky cargo pilot. Anytime she'd pull into Drift she'd go to what now seems to be her fav club. Yeah it had nothing to do with the twin sexy males that owned it, or thats what she keeps telling herself. Even though you have a bad relationship doesnt always mean you can let go. Sometimes you don't even see bad until its too late, then it leaves you struggling for purchase of your own sanity. So how does a cocky hot pilot and two equally gorgeous brothers get together? Its only in the stars mixed with grumpy, sexy, hot, funny oh and a bit of a mystery to solve. This decent length story is well worth me recommending it to any of the menage, sci fi lovers. Enjoy!

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this sci-fi ménage romance. It's definitely my first book of this kind. Luke and Kit are alpha cyborg identical twin bad asses. They live in an interesting world out in the galaxy and run a favorite bar in their area. They've known and liked Zura for a while but things don't get romantic or erotic until she is in trouble and they can't stop themselves from stepping in to keep her safe (like all good alphas). Zura is quite the bad ass herself, having grown up too fast and bee 3.5 stars. I enjoyed this sci-fi ménage romance. It's definitely my first book of this kind. There's also a great story line, some suspense, drama, danger and a lot of cool and unique aspects since this is a deep space world. I'd still call it a light and fun read that's a good escape.

Heavy on the sci-fi world-building as well as romantic smut. I enjoyed the world. The characters were ok. Some of the alpha male-ness bothered me, but I also liked how Zura shut that Sh** down and was like I am my own person and you can't control me. I don't know if this story portrayed cyborgs in the traditional sci-fi sense. I think of cyborgs as humans who have parts that are robotic as well as maybe some programming. It's weird that they grew/cloned "cyborgs" but really I guess any human/rob Heavy on the sci-fi world-building as well as romantic smut. I enjoyed the world. The characters were ok. Double Down is erotic science fiction with a heart. The story is engaging from the beginning and I liked Zura’s tough as nails demeanor, but she has a heart of gold underneath that gruff exterior. Kit and Luke play well off each other and lower Zura’s defenses. The story is explicit and as you can tell from the cover. It’s a menage story, but it’s all about pleasing her. Tieran Wilder narrates this nearly 6-hour audiobook. She does a nice job fully voicing the production. She gives each character their own distinctive voice and her pacing in the telling of the story was perfect. Susan Hayes is a new author to me and I enjoy her writing. Her style reminds me of Lisa Lace and that’s not a bad thing! I look forward to listening to more in this series.

AUDIOBOOK edition An interesting twist, cyborgs that fall in love... A good start of the series, the story flows easily. Overall I enjoyed it, loved the voices for Kit and Luke, their devotion to Zura is endearing, lucky woman. A love story mixed with a bit of suspense, some hot scenes and a HEA made the hours fly by quickly. - 4 stars New narrator for me, Ms. Wilder has that warm voice that draws the listener in. Welp, it was a change of pace. Every space cliché you can think of, the main expletive (fraaxxx) being overdone to the point of being vomit-worthy, and a weird combination of goody-goodyness yet with plenty of sex. Uninspired sex, but a bit of it, including the predictable double peneration scene (hey, two guys and a girl, it was inevitable). More than anything, it gave me Heavy Metal flashbacks and could easily have been a comi-- er., graphic novel. Serious literature, this ain't.

Decent plot, not much chemistry This type of book is not great literature but a fun fantasy read. The plot was decent but there wasn't much chemistry. There was a lot of gushing over each other , sex scenes and all one dimensional but nothing to draw you in an feel their bond. This is a read for entertainment only if you can get past the simplistic writing. Ok read.

It was... Alright but a little too unbelievable for my tastes. The guys instantly fall in love with this blue chick. Then they are super romantic. I just did not buy it. I liked some of the minor characters and may want to see more of them. It also left gaps at times. I know you are supposed to show not tell but goodness some things should have been explained in the beginning.

I love when I find new to me authors. I absolutely adore Susan Hayes. She has set a great first impression. I can't wait to read the rest of her books. I will be binging her books. There is Alpha hotness doubled in Double Down. The chemistry is off the charts with Luke, Zura and Kit. I loved that they were friends first. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who loves SFR.

loved it. loved the characters which were well thought out, and well developed. loved the emotions, conflicts, and day to day living in outer space. hard to put down and highly recommended if u like aliens, and outer space combined. the cyborg characters were especially well done. can't wait to read more in the series. one of my new favourite authors.

This was a fun scifi romp with good smut scenes. It was a bit clunky at parts with descriptions but not enough to spoil the plot. The characters were well developed for a romance and the suspense plot was interesting without taking away from the growing relationship. Definitely interested in continuing this series.

3.5 but not 4 Stars I really could get invested in these characters. These characters had a lot more depth to them that the author didn’t provide. They deserved a lot more store but instead it rushed from scene to scene.

Double Down (The Drift Book 1) Trying to find someone to love you for yourself is hard to do but to find two men who love you for yourself is twice the fun as Aura , Luke and Kit will find out.

This is a great start to a new series and I can't wait to read the next book. I love a feisty heroine and gotta love how she ties her guys in knots by being herself. She is the perfect foil for her two cyborgs.
