This is a great collection of stories and poems pertaining to Christmas and Kentucky. But you don't have to be from Kentucky or live in Kentucky to enjoy the trip down memory lane that some of these tales afford. I felt like I stepped back into my Ohio childhood in many instances and it was very nice to visit there.

I received this book for Christmas in 2012, and started reading it in December 2013. I picked up where I left off in 2014, and again this December, and I've finally finished it. It's a great collection of work that has given me some truly unique material for three Christmases now. I will miss reading it next year, but look forward to going through it again in the future.
